Greetings from Detroit. Joe and Mark took in last night’s Tigers-Mariners game, but we had no time for such frivolity. Not with everything that’s going on between now and the end of the year. The three shows at the Bell House we announced yesterday are already sold out, so we’ve added one more, on December 16. Two sets by us, no opener. Meanwhile, we’re putting the finishing touches on two new releases. First, a 7-inch of “Super Kiwi,” recorded during last summer’s Fade sessions b/w a cover of the Beach Boys’ “A Day in the Life of a Tree.” Lovely art work by Stephen Hunking (see below) and Jim Woodring (you’ll just have to wait for that one) too. Secondly, a deluxe version of Fade including a bonus CD with all the stuff we’ve put out in the last year, which turns out to be quite a lot, including a few previously unreleased songs (available individually for download). That’s not even the end of it, though it is the end of this post.
